Dog Days of Summer

It has been over 100 degrees for a while now and everything that was once green is now ugly brown and yellow. We wanted to cool off today, so we went to Eskimo Sno to get a snowcone. Charley loved it. This was his first snowcone. He shared with all three of us, but I just had to get a picture of Daddy sharing his orange lime snowcone with Charley in their favorite chair in the backyard. Although it was super hot today, our backyard was not that bad. I am thankful for our shade trees. Good news, the next few days the high will be in the 90s. Come on cool air!
