April 20, was Charley's baby dedication service. For those of you that do not know what a baby dedication service is, it is a time for parents to make a commitment to raise their son or daughter for God. It was a beautiful service. Mimi, Uncle Bubba, Aunt Jen, Shel, Beth, Nana and Pa were all here for the celebration. It was so nice to have everyone here. We missed Papa, who was having to work all weekend in TX. The Vine was a packed house because the entire service was a time for parent and child dedications. There were 12 children that participated in the service and all of the grandmas, grandpas, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends were there. Afterwards we had a potluck dinner so everyone could visit. A surprise was given to Cory in the service, his mother had the Child Dedication Card from his very own service on March 19, 1976, so we made sure we kept the bulletin of Charley's. Nana had found the card in a desk drawer, the card is 32 years old!
